Canada-Nova Scotia Job Fund Agreement
Considering that Canada is authorized by the Employment Insurance Commission of Canada and with the agreement of Canada`s Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, under Section 63 of the Employment Insurance (EI) Act, to enter into an agreement with Nova Scotia to pay contributions on the following terms: 7.5 Nova Scotia is committed to complying with all section 7.4 grant agreements that Canada has signed with recipients who expire after the day Nova Scotia begins its availability. benefits and measures for section 3.1 NS by accepting a transfer of these Canada agreements. Canada and Nova Scotia agreed to enter into a surrender agreement under which Nova Scotia will assume all of Canada`s rights and obligations under these agreements. 30. (1) Nova Scotia is committed to conducting, in conjunction with Canada, an assessment of the results, impact and effectiveness of eligible programs and resources allocated under this agreement. The evaluation covers the period from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2021 and will be completed by March 31, 2022. 6.2 As soon as possible after the agreement is signed, Nova Scotia will conduct a site-by-site review of existing Government of Canada delivery points to confirm the commissioning agreements outlined in Schedule 3.
